We have learned from the announcement that the Poco F5 will be ready to receive the HyperOS update. This update is being rolled out to all users in India, Indonesia and Globally. POCO F5 was the first device to receive HyperOS in India. The global size of the HyperOS update is 5.2 GB, and the build number is 1.0.2.0.UMRMIXM, and for Indonesia, the build number is 1.0.1.0 UMRIDXM, while the Android version is – 14 UKQ1.230804.001.
Notably, HyperOS is based on Android 14, and along with the HyperOS update, users will also receive the Android 14 update, whereas before this, Android 13 used to come with MIUI 14, and now MIUI 15 has been replaced by HyperOS.
POCO F5 was released in May 2023 last year. Its weight is 181 grams, and it is 7.9 mm thick. It was released with Android 13 and was announced to receive the update to Android 14, HyperOS.
Here are the specifications of the handset – Its display will also have AMOLED, 68B color, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, 120Hz, 500 nits type,1000 nits peak with Corning Gorilla Glass, and the battery packs with 5000 mAh supports 67W wired charger.
Its chipset is composed of the Qualcomm SM7475-AB Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 4nm, octa-core, Andero 725, and in its camera department, it has three cameras of 64 MP with PDAF, OIS, 8MP, and 2 MP cameras available. Along with this, the selfie camera has a single 16 MP camera, and its features include LED Flash, HDR, and Panorama.
Its sensors include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, etc. It will be available in three colors: Black, Blue, and White. The price of this handset in the Indian market is up to 30,000 Rs.
