Xiaomi successfully tapped out 3nm smartphone chipset

Xiaomi has successfully tapped out its first 3nm smartphone chip in China. This achievement will help the company move towards a broader technology and demonstrate the device’s increasing capabilities. This tapout means that Xiaomi has developed a design that can work efficiently on the cutting-edge 3 nm process node.

This can further enhance the device’s performance, power efficiency, and integration capabilities. A report from Chinese media MyDrivers confirmed this and was announced by the Chief Economist of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology on BRTV. However, this report does not give details about the CPU and GPU.

After this testing, this chip is ready to be manufactured for Xiaomi devices. In 2017, the brand used Xiaomi’s Penhpai S1 chip in the Mi 5C, a 28nm, 8-core processor with Big-Little architecture and a 2.2 GHz maximum clock speed. This chipset can also be seen in the brand’s upcoming flagship models.

This new device can set a new example in the market with its technology and performance for consumers. This new chipset can also make the device more competitive and self-sufficient, taking high gaming and multitasking to a new level. Xiaomi’s devices can also eventually overtake Apple and Samsung.
