Xiaomi 14 Pro Excluded From Global Launch

Xiaomi formally unveiled the Xiaomi 14 series, the first smartphone using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, two months after it made its debut in China. The two variants in the Xiaomi 14 series—the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro—were well-received for their potent processing powers.

The bad news for fans of Xiaomi outside of China is that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will not be released internationally, in contrast to its predecessors, the Xiaomi 13 and Pro, which were successful in the worldwide market. The official Xiaomi server has verified the decision, indicating that the Xiaomi 14 Pro would continue to be available only in China.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro stands out as the company’s most recent high-end model. It has top-tier hardware characteristics, including an F1.46 camera aperture, an AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, and 120W fast charging. Xiaomi decided to keep the Xiaomi 14 Pro exclusive to the Chinese market despite these outstanding features. The Xiaomi 14 Pro’s final internal MIUI builds were made public by the official Xiaomi server, reaffirming that it is only available in China.

The HyperOS Global version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro is no longer being developed by Xiaomi, as seen by the most recent internal release of the MIUI, known as MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNBMIXM. MIUI 15 will be replaced by HyperOS. Xiaomi 14 Pro software number OS1.0.0.4.UNBEUXM in European country. Notably, Xiaomi stopped working on the HyperOS daily beta version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The most recent internal version, 23.10.23, indicates that the HyperOS Global Test has not been available for about two months.

On the other hand, HyperOS Global is continuously being tested as the Xiaomi 14 gets ready for a global launch. The operating system OS1.0.1.0.UNCEUXM, OS1.0.1.0.UNCMIXM, and OS1.0.0.8.UNCINXM is the most recent internal release of HyperOS for Xiaomi 14. The Xiaomi 14 is planned to go on sale officially throughout the world in January 2024. The India launch is not expected to happen until later since the software exclusive to India is still being developed.
