The new 5G smartphone from Poco—the POCO M6 5G—is just about to go on sale in India. The company has formally announced that the launch will occur on December 22, and consumers can buy it only through Flipkart. People are speculating that this could be a rebranded Redmi 13C.
Based on the latest teaser image put out by the company, here is an estimated price for the POCO M6 5G in India: ₹9400. An asterisk accompanies the price, hinting at even lower effective costs for the base variant due to special offers from banks. Experts anticipate that this addition to the M-series will become one of the most cost-effective 5G smartphones in India.
Flipkart will be the sole seller of the POCO M6 5G and has teased a high-end Sky Dance series design for it. It will be available in Orion Blue and Galactic Black. The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor powered the phone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will run under MIUI 14 on the Android 14 operating system.
Speaking in terms of camera function, the POCO M6 5G will also be equipped with a dual-lens design on its rear side, consisting of a main sensor and a depth sensor. It is to have a 5,000mAh battery with a fast charging capability of up to 18W.
