‘STRIDE’ Xiaomi EV Technology, Revealed First Teaser

Xiaomi has finally confirmed that they are assembling a news conference on Thursday, Dec 28, at 2 pm, where they will unveil the Xiaomi EV. The announcement was made by company CEO and founder LEI Jun on official channels on Twitter X .com and Weibo, along with a poster unveiling a car chassis with the text “STRIDE” at the top.

It is known as a phone manufacturer, but now it will also be known for EV technology, and it is believed that it is ready to give tough competition to Tesla. We hope that Xiaomi will reveal some details about the car’s engine and also about AI driving features in individual models.

Xiaomi wants to replicate its success as a leading player in the mobile industry and is moving into the EV market with over 3,400 engineers and an investment of $1.4 billion. We expect such progress in the EV segment in the coming few years.

The company is entering a highly competitive market where players like Tesla and China’s domestic automobile companies are performing best; achieving good market share in a highly competitive market will not be easy.

According to the rumors, the design and specification of Xaiomi’s first EV have revealed such as a central control display and a three-spoke steering wheel. Furthermore, the car measures 4997/1963/1455 mm with a 3000 mm wheelbase. It comes in two-wheel options, 19″ and 20″, with specifications of 245/45 R19 and 245/40 R20, LiDAR technology for advanced windshields, and a B-pillar camera for face recognition.

It will use Xiaomi’s recently introduced feature, Hyper OS, in the operating system. It had two options: rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, which offer 220 kW and 449 kW motors and BYD’s cost-effective LFP battery pack.

The Xiaomi EV Car will have three different options, including SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.

It may offer two battery capabilities, 73.6 kWh and 101 kWh, with a battery life of 668/628 km and 800/700 km. This EV car may be available to people by next year.
