After achieving success in manufacturing Xiaomi phones, it has entered the world of electric cars. How it differentiates itself from the rest of the competitors remains to be seen. The Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan will be available in stores in China right after the EV’s official launch on December 28.
The Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan was first unveiled at the Xiaomi store at the company’s headquarters in Xiaomi Science and Technology Park, Shangdi, Beijing. The model will be showcased in Xiaomi flagship stores in China. Now it is available in store.
- The cars will be produced at automaker BAIC Group’s Beijing factory, which has an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles. They will be based on the HyperOS developed by Xiaomi.
- Xiaomi cars will be at the forefront of self-driving capabilities.
- The SU7 is being touted as a “super electric motor” technology.
- The SU7 is equipped with a 495 kW electric motor and a 101 kWh CATL Qilin battery that gives a range of 800 km.
- SU7 has the ability to charge fast at low temperatures and is also equipped with quite advanced technology.
- The car may come in two variants, likely one with a driving range of up to 668 KM (415 mi)
- On a single charge and the other Max variant with a range of up to 800 km.

Xiaomi SU7 will be available in three color variants, namely Aqua blue, verdant green, and mineral grey. Xiaomi will launch smartphones, watches, and many other accessories that will have the same color as the SU7. Regarding the price of Xiaomi SU7, it is estimated that it can be available in the markets for up to 300000 CNY ($42,306).
