Redmi A3 Grabs The TDRA Certification, Suggesting Its Launch Is Approaching Near

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi A2 a couple of months ago, in March 2023, with all the best possible features that could be incorporated into this most budget-friendly smartphone. With that, now there’s a few leaks that the forthcoming Redmi A3 smartphone has already received the UAE’s TDRA certification, suggesting that the official launch of the Redmi A3 is about to happen over the next few weeks.

The new and upcoming Xiaomi Redmi A3 has been spotted on the TDRA certifications, which clearly points to the possible launch of the device that’s going to debut in the UAE. Within the TDRA website, the Redmi A3 has the 23129RN51X model number. In the meantime, in addition to the TDRA certification, the device has also received other certifications, including IMDA in Singapore, NBTC in Thailand, EEC in Europe, and TKDN and SDPPI in Indonesia, respectively.

On the flip side, the Redmi A3 (Indian variant), bearing the 23129RN51H model number, already gained India’s BIS certification a month ago in December last year; however, no such certification points towards the exact specifications and features of the Redmi A3 smartphone. In contrast, it’s expected that the latest and upcoming Redmi A3 device is going to feature upgraded specifications and functionalities as compared to its predecessor, the Redmi A2.

Redmi A2: Specifications

In addition, the Redmi A2 comes with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel with a 60Hz fast refresh rate and a water drop-notch at its front display. The device has been equipped with a dual-camera setup with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie snapper. On the flip side, on the software front, the Redmi A2 sports a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The device is powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery life with 10W charging support that seamlessly offers you the ability to scroll social media and watch your favorite content for a long time without having to worry about getting the charging cable. Out of the box, the Redmi A2 has been shipped with the Android 13 version, which means that A2 users will get to experience the latest Android 14 and its interesting new features. Meanwhile, the smartphone comes in three impressive color variants, including Classic Black, Aqua Blue, and Sea Green, respectively.
