Just a few moons back, the details of the 3C certification of Xiaomi Ultra were revealed along with it; its model number was also clearly seen in the Geekbench certification. However, the company still needs to clarify something about its launch and features.
A Weibo post about the company suggests that the launch may be imminent. Based on previous rumors, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024. It was also speculated that the Chinese tech giant will showcase its latest flagship smartphone at the MWC 2024 event. The MWC event will be held between the 26th and 29th of February.
Just recently, a tip revealed that this upcoming smartphone’s camera module and image sensor specs are superior to other models and will provide a strong photography experience. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to bring various improvements in camera tech. It was also spotted on BIS certification, which confirms its availability in India. Rumors about camera features and an under-display camera for selfies have already surfaced.
Based on the specifications of Xiaomi 13, its features are being combined. According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a new 1-inch Sony LYT900 primary sensor. Sony LYT900 may be an adapted version of Sony IMX9898, which Xiaomi’s other models use along with 13 Ultra.
Additionally, the primary sensor could be paired with three 50MP sensors that are likely to have 3x and 5x zoom lenses, and it is also being claimed that the 3x camera will support telephoto macro similar to Xiaomi 13 Pro. It may also have the facility of satellite communication.
