Software Support Ended for These Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO Devices

Xiaomi officially released a list of selected devices that will not receive all other firmware updates, including MIUI and Android updates. This EOS announcement includes some models of the Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco brands. Some of these devices were released about two or three years ago.

Seven models have been included in this EOS list. The successors of some of these devices may come to the markets soon. However, they may also have slight improvements in terms of functionality and performance and will receive updates in the future.

On the other hand, it is difficult for the released devices to receive new updates, and the development of new firmware for these models has also been stopped.

This announcement has ensured that Android Security patches will no longer be provided for the affected devices and will be limited to MIUI 14 only. They will not be able to receive future security enhancements or new features that come with later MIUI versions.

Xiaomi is leaving these devices and moving forward, which are expected to have better features than before. Here is the device list, which is the brand gives -Xiaomi MIX 4 (cn)
