Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi continues to expand its smartphone lineup. Its latest addition, the Redmi 14C 5G, has been spotted on a Geekbench Listing that gives users a glimpse of its possible specs and performance. The listing states that the upcoming device aims to offer affordable 5G capabilities while offering a solid overall experience for budget-conscious consumers.
Redmi 14C 5G Geekbench Details
The Redmi C series will be the brand’s most affordable device, with the base model expected to be priced around Rs.10,000 to Rs. 12,000 in India. Earlier, the Redmi 14C 5G was launched globally in Vietnam as the successor to the Redmi 13C. According to MySmartPrice, the Redmi 14C has been spotted on Geekbench with model number 2411DRN471.
In this Geekbench listing, the phone scored 917 in the single-core round and 2182 in the multi-core segment. This upcoming phone can run on Android 14 OS and can also have the option of 8GB RAM for storage. Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC can be used for the chipset in this upcoming device. Apart from this, the phone’s clock speed is measured at 6 cores at 1.96 GHz and two cores at 2.21 GHz.
This upcoming device with the same model number was also spotted in the HyperOS source code and the IMEI database. According to some rumours, the Redmi 14C 5G could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R 5G launched in China last month. However, the Geekbench listing does not reveal details about the display or design.
Based on the previous Redmi C series model, the Redmi 14C 5G is likely to feature a 6.5-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. The front camera will have a water drop notch or punch hole display, which will deliver a good viewing experience for content consumption, social media, and light gaming.
