The Redmi series delivers reliable performance at budget-friendly prices and has a strong reputation, especially in developing markets. The appearance of the Redmi 14 in the IMEI database suggests that Xiaomi is set to refresh this lineup with new features and upgrades.

IMEI Database

The Redmi 14 4G has been spotted in the IMEI database with model numbers “25028RN03L”, “25028RN03I”, “25028RN03Y”, and “25028RN03A”. The letters at the end of these model numbers indicate the regions where the device will be released. The letter L indicates that it will be available in Latin America, while the letter I indicates that it will be available in India.

The letter y indicates the NFC version of the Redmi 14, while the letter A indicates the non-NFC version. The device’s codenames are expected to be Watt and Volt. However, this does not reveal any specifications, and according to a rumour, the Redmi 14 could be rebranded as the Poco M7.

On the other hand, the Poco M7 4G has been spotted with the model numbers “25028PC03G,” “25028PC03I,” and “25028PC03Y.” The Y in the model number means that the device will be available globally with NFC, while the G means that it will be available globally without NFC.

Like its predecessors, the Poco M7 will target the budget-conscious smartphone user segment. Poco has consistently distinguished itself by offering devices with great features at aggressive price points. The Poco M7 is rumoured to feature a powerful mid-range processor.
