Redmi has already launched Redmi Pad, Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Pad SE in China. Redmi Pad Pro may launch globally soon, while Redmi Pad SE is set to launch in India on April 23, 2024, at the “Smarter Living 2024” event. Redmi Pad Pro was launched in China on April 10 along with Redmi Turbo 3.
Additionally, the Redmi Pad Pro with model number 2405CRPFDL has been spotted on the FCC site. It is expected that it will also come with some new AI features and an operating system. Sadly, the India launch of Redmi Pad Pro has not been confirmed yet. On the other hand, the Redmi Pad was launched in India in October 2022.
As per the China Launch, here are the key specifications of the device. The Redmi Pad Pro runs on Android 14 and will be updated with the HyperOS. It is also powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and a 10000 mAh battery with fast charging support that is capable of supporting 33W wired fast charging. On the other hand, the display comes with a 12.1-inch, 2.5K resolution LCD panel, 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 are available for storage. The device includes 8 MP sensors on the front and back for photos and cameras. The tablet also supports WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C connectivity, among other options, but it remains to be seen how many changes there in the Indian versions are. It is available in three color options: Dark Gray, Shallow Blue Bay and Smoke Green.
