Xiaomi has started releasing HyperOS for the device. Earlier, Xiaomi Mi 11X and 11X Pro received a HyperOS update. However, both these devices are rebranded versions of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. Additionally, the Redmi K40 is sold as POCO F3 in the global markets, and it is sold as Mi 11X in India.
Xiaomi Mi 11X And 11X Pro HyperOS Update
The Xiaomi Mi 11X and 11X Pro devices’ build numbers are OS1.0.1.0.TKHINXM and OS1.0.1.0.UKKINXM. However, the 11X has received a HyperOS update based on Android 13, while the Mi 11X Pro has received a HyperOS update based on Android 14.
The reason for this software’s difference is its chipset. The Snapdragon 870 has been used in this 11X, and the Snapdragon 888 processor has been used in 11X Pro. The most successful chipset in this update is SD888. Based on this update, the Xiaomi Mi 11X gets the March 2024 security patch, while the Mi 11X Pro gets the April 2024 security patch.
The update size for the Mi 11X is 1.6GB, while the 11X Pro model is 4.8 GB because it supports Android 14. Like many previous updates, this update includes the same features. Everything from the system to the battery gets a better update.
In March, the Xiaomi Mi 11X will receive a security update, vibrant aesthetics, and animations. This update also adds some new animations, icons, and camera features to your device, fixes some arising problems, and makes your device easier for multitasking. However, the Mi 11X Pro was also given a similar April 2024 security patch update.
