Xiaomi has started working on a new mid-range device for its consumers, which is expected to use a 1.5K display and 50 MP camera in this device. This series will be the successor to the Redmi Note 13, launched in January. However, a tipster has also revealed some specifications about the series –
It is possible that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 series will include high-end features in an affordable way. It will use a 1.5K hyperbolic display, which is considered to be a new-generation display. This screen will provide a better immersive viewing experience with great visual clarity and will also offer higher resolution than Full HD+ panels for power efficiency.
For opticals, the device might use a 50 MP large-bottom elliptical lens module with the primary camera being 50 MP, and there might be other camera lenses, but this still needs to be confirmed. This lens might also use a larger sensor to capture more light and an elliptical lens to enhance other details with depth.
All these lenses will help differentiate the photography of this device, and if this series is combined with AI capabilities, it will become a focal point. Additionally, this device will use a plastic middle frame that is capable of maintaining an affordable price while generating durability. This frame will also make it lighter and cheaper.
Apart from this, Redmi Note 14 might use a short-focal optical fingerprint sensor, and this series will also be equipped with one for a reliable biometric that will also improve security and convenience for the user. Also, this series uses Dimensity processors, which can also run on dual second-generation TSMC 4nm processors.
The main clock speed of the CPU can be 3.0 GHz, and MediaTek Dimensity 7350 can be used for the chipset. According to the other report, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor will be used in this series. However, the brand will clarify the processor soon. The company has not given any clarification about the launch of this device, and it will also be launched globally soon.
