Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 introduced 6 GB Extra RAM

Xiaomi is set to incorporate HyperOS 2.0 in its upcoming devices, and some of its models have already started receiving HyperOS updates. A new feature called “Extra RAM” will be included in future updates, increasing storage capacity from 4 GB to 6 GB. This Feature will work like an expandable phone, in which a part of the phone’s storage will be kept for use as extra RAM.

With the extra Feature, this process will work easily like a memory extension, which will help your phone increase the storage capacity better by using more RAM. With this Feature, your device can easily run multiple apps and high-level things without slowing down.

There can be many benefits from this “extra RAM,” such as better multitasking so that you can open more apps in the background without interruption and use them easily. It will also give the user a high level of gaming performance. Moreover, one can also get smooth operation for heavy apps, allowing users to use video editing and high-graphics software.

Before HyperOS 2.0, the extra RAM feature on MIUI 14 and the original HyperOS was set to 4GB by default, but now, it has been increased to 6GB. This gives users better multitasking and smooth phone performance. The HyperOS 2.0 update with the extra RAM feature will be available first in new Xiaomi phones; only then can it be rolled out.
