Xiaomi launched its Xiaomi 14 series, including Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models, a couple of weeks ago, and now there are rumors spreading all around that the brand is gearing up to announce another model, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, within the Xiaomi 14 series.
If rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi may soon launch the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model under the Xiaomi 14 series. However, in the recent EEC certification listings, it’s quite confirmed that the global launch of this smartphone could take place in the first quarter of 2024.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Expected Timeline
According to reports, it’s highly believed that Xiaomi might launch the latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra model somewhere in March 2024, that is, in the first quarter of 2024. However, if you remember, Xiaomi unveiled the previous Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Ultra at a similar time as their launch, as it’s now doing in the current Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Expected Features
Several reports have provided a clear hint that Xiaomi could bring the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model with some high-end specifications and features. To begin with, a few reports suggest that the smartphone will be equipped with a massive 5,500mAh battery power, which is comparatively bigger and better than its previous model, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which only has 5000mAh battery capacity.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is highly expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, and it’s going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which in turn offers a smooth, lag-free and much more intuitive performance. The smartphone runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS, which is based on the Android 14 operating system.
On the camera front, the device is rumored to come with a 50MP high-resolution Sony LYT-900 primary camera, offering OIS technology. The smartphone will sport a quad camera setup with a wide-angle aperture. The Sony LYT camera sensor is highly known for improving the pictures captured in low-light conditions.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a slightly curved display, giving it a sleek and curvy design. Other than that, the smartphone is further rumored to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. However, it’s not yet clear whether it will be implemented or not.
