Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S 24 Ultra offer top-notch quality. Both phones have multiple features that give them tough competition. We are going to compare these phones here. Both phones have been launched in India and globally, but Samsung is more expensive than Xiaomi. Xiaomi gets the best AnTuTu scores compared to Samsung.
Designs
If we talk about the design of these phones, there is a subtle difference between them. Xiaomi Ultra’s thickness is 9.2 mm, while Samsung’s is 8.2. In both of them, Samsung is the thinner device, but according to the weight of these phones, Samsung is lightweight at 232 gms, while Xiaomi is 224 grams. On the backside, Xiaomi comprises Glass or leather and titanium, while Samsung comprises only titanium and Glass.
On the one hand, Samsung has remained with its old design, but on the other hand, Samsung has made some changes in its designs, which make them very beautiful and attract users easily.
Screens
On the other hand, both handsets receive IP68 ratings for water, dust, and splash resistance. Many features are the same in these handsets, like AMOLED, 2k 1440×3200 resolutions, 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR 10+. The screen size of Xiaomi is 6.73 inches, whereas Samsung’s is 6.8 inches. The brightness is also different from Xiaomi’s 3000 nits peak and Samsung’s 2600. Xiaomi’s color depth is 12-bit, and Samsung’s is 8-bit.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with Dolby Vision, while Samsung does not have this capability. When discussing screen protection, Xiaomi is equipped with Longjing Glass, while Samsung is protected by Gorilla Glass armor.
The screen quality provides great touch quality and sampling rates in both. When you play the games, it will provide fast and smooth touches. It can easily give the best brightness against sunlight.
Operating System
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with Android 14 and HyperOS, while Samsung comes with Android 12 and OneUI 6.1. When we talk about updates, Xiaomi gets 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patch updates, whereas Samsung gets 7 years of both updates. The chipset of these handsets is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 4nm octa-core, and LPDDR 5x, but for the GPU, they used Adreno 750.
Both handsets come with the best chipset and OS, giving them the best performance and smoothness for high-level games. Xiaomi gets updates like the old terms, but Samsung gets seven years of updates. We assumed that these seven years created some problems after the two or three updates.
Cameras
They give each other tough competition for the camera because Xiaomi comes with 50 of four cameras set on the back side, while Samsung comes with four cameras on the backside. It includes four different cameras: 200 MP/50MP/10MP, and 12MP. They have the facility of OIS, but the front camera is still different. For example, Xiaomi has 32 MP, but Samsung has only 12 MP.
We compared the cameras and found they have the best features and AI. The cameras capture the best photos with color, tones, and blurring. Xiaomi states that they will give the best cameras compared to others, so we can assume this in the pictures. Still, when we talk about the zooming quality, there is no comparison to the Samsung Ultras.
Plus, Samsung lost the front camera because Xiaomi has the best font cameras with great AI features and an under-display camera.
Battery and Price
Xiaomi packs a 5300 mAh battery with a 90w wired charger and 80w wireless charger, while Samsung packs a 5000 mAh battery with a 45w wired charger and a 15W wireless charger.
When we see the battery, the Xaiomi will charge faster than the Samsung and the Xaiomi will provide the best backup. Both handsets are the best at using high-level games and other apps. The supercooling system does not allow your phone to heat up, so you can use it for a long time.
